I am seeing similar problems to those reported in the threads:

I am using Osiris version 0.13 and have tried installing on two machines and operating systems (Win XP, Ubuntu 10.10 both 32 bit) and see basically the same behavior on both. On start-up, the log reports no errors and one warning. The warning is "Cannot map UPnP port 2298". Under P2P, it will show trying to connect to various IP addresses but tranfer and objects both report 0 up and 0 down for bytes and objects respectively and for all addresses tried. Osiris has now been running on both machines for close to 48 hours.

I have tried to subscribe to three portals, "General English Osiris Portal", "Ciasso", and "Partito operaio". When trying to enter any of them, I only get the default page starting with the message "If you registered to an already exists portal, you need to wait the portal alignment."

I see from one of the responses that it could be that no other peers are available, so I also created a portal, per the video, with a basic forum layout. While I am able to edit the portal, even the machine on which the portal was created results in the default message as described above when attempting to go to the home page.

I have also tried port forwarding 2298 in the router. Lastly, I have privoxy installed on both machines, but have tried Osiris with it both enabled and disabled. In all cases I keep getting the same result of not being able to contact any peers.
