hello,
i have just started my first portal and every thing seemed to go fine...i invited a couple of friends and they were able to get the invite file and sign up fine...they can see the room and post and comment....but i can not see either of them or their comments or replys...i have tried allowing access to osiris through macfee and even turned my firewall off completely and nothing has changed...everything seems to be fine except and went smoothly so does anyone have any ideas???...the only thing i see that is out of the ordinary is the first osiris window that opens up that says (osiris 0.15 then files tools help underneath it) says thank you..HttpSession error:invalid request at the bottom...thank you

told to your friends to activate p2p sync... often the problem is this. Tey must press the first button at up-right in the osiris window (control also you for the same). Sorry for my bad english.

that did not work...i cant even see them in the users section...just me...is it because i have it on private instead of monarchy maybe???...

wait... you have a private portal? times ago i tried to create a private portal and had the same problem! Try to create a public one and tell us if work! clodo we maybe have a problem!!!

ok i understood, Anyway the problem seems to be real. I ask to clodo (the admin) for some informations. Clodo se ci sei rispondi a questo messaggio!

I just created a private portal from one machine, take the invitation link, import into another machine, and works.
Remember: each people need to specify the same password, are you sure about that?

abcde2, please "up" the topic when you talk about private-portal issue.

I still not found any problems. It's normally that p2p doesn't work if two machine with the same private-portal are subscribed with a different password.

nope its not working for me for some reason....used the same pw and everything....im getting messages like this in my logs

im working on it now with 2 friends..i can talk to them in the chat that is on the portal in #general and we can chat in private too...they can see me and some of my posts in the room but i cant see them in users or see their comments...i was thinking it might be something goofy with my router so i tried my 4G broadband and also another wifi and its still the same...

abcde2 hey man we can test it out if clodo is busy or doesnt want to mess with it...we can make a tester room and see if it works on private...

Really i want to help you, but i still have no idea...
I think it's a network issue. Do you use Tor, or some kind of proxy configured with Osiris?

no im not using tor nor do i have a proxy in use...i even turned off my firewall a few times and tried on 3 seperate networks...i just tried to go to your test portal but it wouldnt let me...

ok i proceed to test clodo's priovate portal. When i finisced report here!

EDIT: Form me the portal works perfectly. Maybe is a problem specific only for some users... but must be resolved in my mind in some way...
