Sorry for the problem with your activation mail. I tested just now and all works.
Yesterday we do an upgrading of the software of this board (Invision), i think this may be the cause.
About the news, this is a "big events", also many users come here simply by contestating closing pages by rules of portals like WordPress (the official ), Blogger, and so on.
We also hope that Osiris can be a good tools for freedom of speak.
It's strange that RIAA, MPAA & co do not boast of results, normally he do that... and:
All of that don't change our point: a single identity (Blogetery) that can shutdown the voice of 73000 blogs are, for us, inacceptable.
Sure, there's still lots unanswered questions. We don't know which law enforcement agency is involved. We don't know whether BurstNet disconnected Blogetery with proper cause. We don't know for sure whether the reason for the shut down was due to copyright violations.
But at this point, it sure doesn't appear to be a generic file-sharing issue.
Update 3:20 p.m. PT: In an interview, a BurstNet spokesman declined to identify the law enforcement agency that ordered Blogetery shut down or provide the reason but did say that it had nothing to do with copyright violations.
